Sleeping Giant Studios, LLC (SGS) was founded in July 1996 by Jon Hage as an outlet for creativity and innovation. Initially, SGS mainly provided video post-production services and was honored by receiving a Telly Award (a highly regarded award in the video industry) for the production of a music video. As early as the fall of 1996, the company quickly evolved and became one of the first companies in the area to offer website design and development that featured both high end graphic design and advanced programming functionality.

Since then, Sleeping Giant Studios has designed many solutions, including over 100 websites for companies ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations all over the nation. The company has expanded its initial service offerings to also incorporate interactive media design, application programming, database development, identity/branding, search engine optimization services, photography, and its own proprietary website content management system software.

SGS has also remained a key player within the community by providing free services to local non-profit organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of Greater La Crosse. Recently joining the Better Business Bureau (a by invitation only organization), Sleeping Giant Studios attributes its success to promoting long term relationships with its customers through core values such as integrity, honesty, dedication, and excellence.
